Baby Mason: Three Months

Mason turned 3 months on the 24th of May. I had this post ready to go for the 26th when he had his doctor appointment. Then I did this thing where I completely forgot about it and missed it :S  Cami had been up throwing up all night, plus Mason woke up 2 or 3 times instead of just once. I was exhausted to say the least. I took the morning nap with Mason and slept right through his appointment and then realized it 2 hours later. We went to his appointment yesterday - so I finally got this typed up and ready to post :)

He was much harder to get a good picture of this month because he was wiggling SO much. As evidenced by the picture below where he was just shaking those arms and legs!

Stats: 13 lb 6 oz, 23.5 inches long
Eating: Two weeks ago, he finally upped his intake to 3 1/2 oz of expressed breastmilk per feeding. Then over the last week, he's gone up to 4 oz. every 3 hours during the day and one bottle around 3am at night
Sleeping: He still isn't on much of a nap schedule during the day. We very much so do Mason-led naps. I try to pay attention to his cues. Some days he'll take 3 or 4 naps, others it's more because he'll sleep for like 20 minutes and wake up. He's the best at night. He falls asleep around 7 or 8. We go to bed around 9 or 10 and he usually eats one bottle then. Then he eats one bottle in the middle of the night - typically around 2 or 3 am - and then he sleeps on through to 6 or 7am. It's awesome! Unfortunately, he still isn't sleeping in the crib. Now that Matt & Cami are out of school for the summer, we are working on that. Matt & Mason share a room, so I didn't want to try and sleep train him while Matt needed to get up at 6:30am for school. He naps in his bouncy seat pretty consistently. I really can't complain all that much. I like cuddling with him and I know it won't last forever.
Wearing: 3 mo or 3-6 mo clothing.
Personality: It used to be that he was only really smiley first thing in the morning and right before bed. Now he is smiley ALL the time. He'll wake up at 2 or 3am and be cheesing it up! He's literally just the sweetest, happiest baby. I tell everyone how he won't wake up crying at 6/7 am. He wakes up rustling and then smiling and cooing. He loves Matthew & Cami a lot! He smiles and talks to them all the time.

Milestones: He is a drool machine who always has his hands in his mouth. He also discovered his feet and can grab them. I discovered that Mason is a little lazy butt...during tummy time, he was rarely holding his head up, even though he has great head control. If I put his hands and arms underneath him and prop him up, he'll hold it and part of his chest off the ground without hesitation. He's very close to rolling over back to belly.
