Bout of Books 9.0: Goals & Book List

Bout of Books

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal.  It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 6th and runs through Sunday, January 12th in whatever time zone you are in.  Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week.  There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional.  For all Bout of Books 9.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog.

The Goals:
  • Read 200 pages a day
  • Visit one new blog a day
  • Participate in 3 challenges and 1 chat
The Books:
Anna and the French Kiss (Anna and the French Kiss, #1)Finale (Hush, Hush, #4)The Girl of Fire and Thorns (Fire and Thorns, #1)

Extras, if I have time:
Birthmarked (Birthmarked, #1)Eragon (The Inheritance Cycle, #1)Alice in Zombieland (White Rabbit Chronicles, #1)

This go-around I'm not making a finish x amount of books goal. I have school starting and need to focus there first :) However, I'm going to be a BOB Expert again, so I will be visiting and rooting everyone on!

I love Rae Carson's writing. I actually have the 3rd and final book in the trilogy still to read, I'd love to fit that into the read-a-thon. I've heard great things about Birth Marked - could you let me know what you think if you get onto that one? Good luck next week!

Ahhh, love your list!!! Anna and the French Kiss is SO awesome!! And great for a Read-a-Thon, too! I read Hush Hush ages ago...and didn't like it. But the covers intrigue me so much, I constantly find myself debating to continue the series anyway :D The Girl of Fire and Thorns and Alice in Zombieland both sound soooo good, I'm kind of a bit jealous you get to read them :) Good luck with your goals!

I loved Anna and the French Kiss and I've heard a lot of great things about A Girl of Fire and Thorns! I'm interested to see what you think of Birth Marked and Alice in Zombieland. I actually have Alice in Zombieland checked out from the library right now, just haven't gotten to it. Good luck with your goals!

Yay! Anna and the French Kiss is such an adorable book! Also, Finale is such a perfect ending to the Hush Hush saga (but it's also pretty sad).
Good luck, Sarah! :)
