Synopsis:
A zombie who yearns for a better life ends up falling in love—with a human—in this astonishingly original debut novel.

R is a zombie. He has no memories, no identity, and no pulse, but he has dreams. He doesn’t enjoy killing people; he enjoys riding escalators and listening to Frank Sinatra. He is a little different from his fellow Dead.

Not just another zombie novel, Warm Bodies is funny, scary, and deeply moving.

My Thoughts:
I ended up watching the movie before reading the book - couldn't help it. I loved the movie and didn't read the book soon enough. The book is so much better - so much more graphic and there is a different ending. I've heard that a sequel is supposed to come out next year!

However, I think the movie captured the personalities of R and Nora perfectly. I love R. Can we just say...best YA guy EVER?! I love what Marion did with the zombie lore in this novel. It's so very interesting and original :)
