Top Ten Tuesday #2

Today's theme is Top Ten Books I'd Give a Theme Song

This one was a bit difficult for me because the books that are fresh in my mind aren't very many books at all. So I did what I could with what I have:

Divergent by Veronica Roth
Al the Killer by Coheed & Cambria - it's the first song that came on my mp3 player and the first book that popped into my head was Divergent.
Seal the lips of your voice with haste
And cower at the sounds as they make their way
Surprise speed and malice
The opposing break the surface hold ready

Matched by Ally Condie
Tourniquet by Evanescence - I really love Evanescence and they are a perfect fit for a lot of YA books.

Crossed by Ally Condie
To the End by My Chemical Romance - this seemed fitting for the second installment.

Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick
Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold - had to have some A7X in here somewhere :)

Silence by Becca Fitzpatrick
Uprising by Muse - time to fight back!

Fracture by Megan Miranda
Numb by Linkin Park - I could just see this playing in the montage of them pulling her out of the ice!

Dark Lover by JR Ward
Scream by Avenged Sevenfold - had to have another A7X song in there and when Scream came on, I immediately thought of Wrath and Beth :)

A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness
Before I'm Dead by Kidney Thieves - this was in Queen of the Damned and I thought about it a bit when I read the book.

Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
Camisado by P!ATD - I'm not sure why, but I thought this would fit Hannah's personality and almost the sense of revenge she got.

HP & the Deathly Hallows by JK Rowling
Leave Out All the Rest by Linkin Park - Linkin is good for movie too. This was in Twilight, I think. And that is probably going to piss off a lot of HP fans that hate on Twilight...but I think it is perfect for the last installment of Harry Potter.
